
Meet Jerrell!
Hey teammate, my name is Jerrell Simpson and I'm an CPR and A.C.E. certified personal trainer with seven years of experience in the Auburn, AL community. I specialize in fat loss, muscle building, cardiovascular conditioning, proper weight training technique, and building better nutritional habits.
I'm originally from Mobile, AL where I graduated from Davidson High School. As a student, I was a member of the baseball program for four years, member of the National Honor Society, and African-American Scholar Club. I attended Troy University where I majored in Business and was a member of the Freshmen Student Government Association.
I began my career as a certified personal trainer in 2014 at Max Fitness in Auburn, AL. After my first year I was promoted to Head Personal Trainer, a position I held until my departure in 2018. During that time I developed and refined my leadership and managerial skills that still guide me to this day. During 2018, I partnered with a local chef and business owner to create the first meal prep service, Lean Meals by Gourmet to Go, in the Auburn area.
In September of 2018 I resigned from my position at Max Fitness and formed my LLC, J. Simpson Fitness.

Eiland holds a special place in my heart because she was my first transformation and helped me realize I could be a great trainer and make a positive impact with people. Eiland lost over 15lb's and 10 total inches, but she gained confidence and validation that changed her life. I'm forever grateful for her discipline and commitment to her goals.

Madeline lost 10lb's and over 9 inches in 3 months by training with me 2x a week and working out on her own another 3-4x a week using the workout boards my clients have access to while using my services.

Kara lost 8lb's and 7 inches by committing to consistently working out 5-6 days a week and eating 5-6 small meals/snacks daily to increase her metabolism.

Piper added 10lb's of muscle and reduced her body fat percentage by eliminating excess sugar from her diet and altering her workout splits on days she was not doing personal training.

CaraMilyn lost over 25lb's and 15 total inches by eliminating my list inflammatory foods from her diet and increasing her activity levels outside the gym with biking and jogging.

Sarah Beth took commendable steps in her fitness journey prior to joining the team. She trusted me to properly guide her through resistance weight training and interval cardiovascular conditioning sessions and her results went to a new level.

McCoy lost 15lb's and over 9 total inches by reducing her calorie intake and adding a mixture of traditional resistance training and high intensity interval training.

Kat lost over 30lb's and 15.5 total inches by reducing her consumption of inflammatory foods and alcohol. We also added more vigorous cardiovascular training on her days she was not doing personal training and the results are proof.

Taylor was able to lose over 20lb's and 12 total inches with the help of medication after we identified she had a medical issue. Taylor's amazing eating habits, consistent cardiovascular training paired with my help with resistance training paved the way to great results.

Bianca has lost over20lb's and 12 total inches with consistent effort inside and outside the gym. Bianca's food sensitivities limit what she can eat, but with trial and error we were able to identify foods that work with her body and immune system.

Emily lost 18lb's and 12 total inches by reducing her calorie intake and adding protein to her daily diet. Added resistance training and low intensity cardiovascular training helped us achieve our goals together.

Ricky lost over 20lb's by cutting back on fast food and adding more whole foods to his diet. We focused on corrective exercises to alleviate pain before implementing resistance training to rebuild his body.

Sara added over 12lb's of muscle by working out 5 days a week and increasing her protein intake to match her increased activity levels in the gym.
